All our young stock have the best care and handling possible – from the correct worming programme, Dobson & Horrell Feed, to Blacksmith care every five weeks by our experienced Farrier. Our slightly undulating fields with post and rail fencing give every youngster the opportunity to move and work and strengthen their limbs correctly. After weaning (which is normally carried out at the optimum time of five and a half months) every foal will come in overnight through their first winter to ensure that they get enough rest to allow them to grow and develop correctly. |
